Your Application

Your application is crucial in helping us understand your unique story and what you aim to achieve at Camp. This insight allows us to tailor a camp experience that resonates with your expectations and our collective mission. While we aim to accommodate as many applicants as possible, our capacity is limited, and we appreciate your understanding if we're unable to admit every interested individual.

Who Should Be Applying?

  • For Campers: We encourage you, the campers, to fill out the application independently. If needed, seek support from a trusted adult, but remember, the application should reflect your own words and thoughts.
  • For Counselors: If you're applying to be a Javan or Ayandeh counselor, please refer to our Counselor Application Rubric.

How Are Applications Reviewed?

Each application is reviewed by at least two members of our dedicated Camp Team, including the Director of Programs, Head of Curriculum, Camp Director, and other members of our Programs Working Group.

What Do We Look for in Applicants?

As a camper, we're looking for your eagerness to grow as a leader, enhance your skills, and connect with the Iranian diaspora community. We value authenticity and a genuine desire to engage in the Camp experience.

The Role of Video/Audio in Your Application

We ask for a video or audio recording as part of your application because we want to meet the whole person behind the text. This helps us connect with you more personally and understand your unique character and aspirations.

When You'll Hear from Us

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until all spots are filled. You can expect to hear back from us within 2 weeks of submitting your application. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
